The refurbished Monte Carlo Beach Hotel opened its new restaurant Elsa on 19 May.
The restaurant is named after Elsa Maxwell, the "hostess with the mostest", who organized the opening party of what was in 1929 the Monte Carlo Beach Club. 80 years later, chef Jean-Claude Brugel will be cooking up contemporary meals based on the sort of food that high society enjoyed during the 1920s and 30s. What a delicious way to spend lunch or dinner!
Doors open at 18.00, pre-show meal deal 30% off food up to 19.30, 50% off bottled beer, wine and champagne by the glass up to 20.00.

The first charity dinner organized by Zest has been a spectacular success.
Located in the recently refurbished commercial area of the port, Zest is fast becoming a favourite of Monaco's food connoisseurs. At the beginning of May, the restaurant organized a charity dinner to benefit the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco. Resident chef Ronan Kervarrec worked together with Michelin 3 starred Yannick Alleno, who was specially invited to design the delicious menu.
Hot on the heels of our mobile interface, maBoum is now tweeting on Twitter. We hope to be able to let you know all the latest news as we're out and about in Monaco. We're probably staying in for a couple of nights because we're exhausted from the fantastic time we had yesterday at the Monaco Grand Prix.
