Win a watch at Loga

If you enjoy good food and love jewelry, get down to the Loga Cafe for lunch. For every 20 euros spent, you'll be given a raffle ticket for a draw that takes place on Friday 10 April at 5pm. Two prizes are offered by the Ciaudano Jewellers boutique. The 1st prize is a Locman chronograph watch, and the 2nd prize is a silver and blue topaz bracelet.

Even if you don't win, you're bound to enjoy the regional style cuisine.

Beausoleil stair race

If you need a bit of exercise tomorrow, you might consider entering the Beausoleil Stair Race.

Stair racing is a popular extreme sport in many countries, but usually takes place inside tall buildings or skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building in New York. Although we do have a number of these in Monaco, we prefer to do it in the open air. With 458 steps to run up, the equivalent of 30 floors, it's only advisable if you're already fit and exercise regularly. It makes us quite breathless just thinking about it.

2nd Monte Carlo Wine Festival

Today's your last chance to taste some delicious Italian wines.

The 2nd Monte Carlo Wine Festival opened on Saturday evening with a cocktail and dinner, but the real business of wine tasting didn't get going until Sunday afternoon. Discovering some of the best Italian wines is the main attraction of the event in the Auditorium Rainier 3rd, but there are also exhibitions, debates and conferences, all dedicated to the liquor of Bacchus. So if you're a connoisseur of the grape, be sure to arrive well before the festival closes at 7pm.

The 2nd edition of the Monte Carlo Wine Festival has a change of venue, but it looks like the majority of wines on show will be Italian, as in 2008.
