17th Monaco Heritage Day
On 13th and 14th October, this year's Journee du Patrimoine de Monaco takes as its theme Albert 1st of Monaco (1848-1922): Science, Light and Peace (Albert Ier de Monaco: Science, Lumiere et Paix).
As in previous years, the event begins on Saturday with a trip outside Monaco, this year to Cap Martin. Sunday is the main day, when Monaco opens the doors of administrative buildings, museums and places of interest to the public. Buses are normally free all day to help you get around and see as much as possible. Entrance is free unless specified.
Here's maBoum's guide to what's on during the Journee du Patrimoine. For more detailed information, download an official program from the event website: Journee Patrimoine Monaco.
