Concert with Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra (OPMC)
In the Salle des Princes, premier of Violins of Hope world concert tour. the OPMC conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti, joined by violinists Shlomo Mintz and Cihat Askin, and Stephane Freiss, who narrates the story of the Violons de l'Espoir.
Some of the violins being played were recovered in pieces from liberated camps and ghettos at the end of WW2. Originally belonging to victims of the Holocaust, the instruments have been restored over the decades by Amnon Weinstein, master violin maker.

Concert organized by the Amis de l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo for the benefit of Jerusalem University, to raise funds for the brain and environment research centre.
