Opening concert of the orchestra season
As a prelude to the Verdi bicentenary celebrations, Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra opens its 2012-2013 season with a performance of Verdi's Requiem in the Salle des Princes. Conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti, with:
- Martina Serafin, soprano
- Daniela Barcellona, alto
- Massimo Giordano, tenor
- Orlin Anastassov, bass
- choir of the Teatro Regio di Parma
- Monte Carlo Opera chorus
At 17:00, preceding the concert, Andre Peyregne of the Nice's Conservatoire a Rayonnement Regional provides a FRENCH LANGUAGE introduction to the composition.
