Chelsea versus Atletico Madrid
The 15th edition of the UEFA Super Cup sees English club Chelsea FC take on Italians Club Atletico de Madrid. Both teams have previously won the trophy, Chelsea in 1998, when it was known as the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, and Atletico in 2010.
70% of tickets are reserved for the general public and supporters of the clubs, and applications are invited from fans between 15 June and 2 July 2012. Price 70 euros. For more information visit the event website: UEFA Super Cup.
Traditionally opening the European season, the UEFA Super Cup has been held every year at Stade Louis II since it was established as a one-off match in 1998. However next year the event moves to Prague's Eden Stadium in the Czech Republic.
