Symphonic concert
In the Palace Courtyard, the Dee Dee Bridgewater Quintet, the Menuhin Academy Orchestra and Shani Diluka play a concert uniting art and nature lovers to raise money for the Fondation Prince Albert II. Program:
- Shani Diluka on piano, playing two pieces by Mendelssohn: Songs Without Words op. 19 no. 1, and Sonate Ecossaise op 28
- Menuhin Academy Orchestra, with Maxim Vengerov conducting and on violin
Mendelssohn's Concerto no. 1 in G minor
three pieces by Tchaikovsky: Melodie, Scherzo, and Valse-Scherzo - Dee Dee Bridgewater Quintet playing Midnight Sun extracts
Jacket and tie required, tickets 30, 40, 60, 100 and 150 euros, VIP seats 250 euros. Available from the Casino Atrium box office, Fnac and Carrefour. In case of rain, the concert takes place at 22:00 in the Auditorium Rainier III.
