FRENCH LANGUAGE annual gathering of botanical garden professionals
From 11th to 15th June, Monaco's Jardin Exotique is hosting the annual congress of the Jardins Botaniques de France et des Pays Francophones (JBF) as part of its scientific vocation. Taking place in a different location each year, the theme of the 2012 gathering is Cadres Juridiques, Codes De Bonnes Pratiques Pour Les Jardins Botaniques : Reglementer Pour Conserver la Biodiversite (good practice for botanical gardens, regulate for biodiversity conservation). In addition to the conference, there are practical workshops and visits to gardens in the region.
