Semi finals of the Monte Carlo Piano Masters competition, after which 2 pianists are selected to take part in the finals in the Salle Garnier on 15th June.
Competitors play for no longer than 1h20 and must interpret
- an 18th century sonata
- a great work by either Chopin, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Moussorgsky or Albeniz
- a piece by either Faure, Debussy or Ravel
- a great sonata of the 20th century
