Amateur rock band competition
On 16th and 17th March, the Cote d'Azur regional heat of the rock competition organized by the Gibus Club in Paris. A jury of regional professionals judge 12 local amateur bands over 2 nights. Each evening the audience chooses the best band, which translates into an extra vote in the jury deliberations. At the end of the weekend, the band chosen by the jury receives an all expenses paid trip to Paris to represent the Cote d'Azur in the festival grand final at the Gibus Club on 28th and 29th September.

Winners of the grand final receive:
- a complete kit from Paul Beuscher
- opportunity to play a concert in 2013 at the Olympia
- invitation to play at the Atom Live Tour student festival in the UK
- their own concert at Gibus Club on a saturday night of their choice
- EP recording session at the Montorgueil Studio
- an interview by Philippe Manoeuvre in Rock & Folk
- an interview in Studyrama magazine
- a specially made Gibus guitar, signed by Henry Padovani, manager, musician and founder of The Police
