Annual Christmas market

From 5th December to 8th January, the promenade Albert 1er overlooking the port is transformed into a Christmas village, this year with a 19th century English theme. With chalets selling English specialties and seasonal food and drink, a traditional carousel, ice rink, kiddies' train ride and workshops. Not forgetting the craft stalls.

Entertainment during school holidays

There are plenty of activities, games and shows happening in the Christmas village to keep your kids entertained during the school holidays. Here's our guide to what's on, note that all activities are 14:00 to 18:00 unless otherwise stated:

  • Saturday 24th, Father Christmas' Memory, French language story telling through music.

Classes start again on 3rd January, and during the last week of the Christmas village, the Fanfare wandering minstrels and the Christmas craft workshops take place on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. There's also another puppet show on Wednesday, a parade on Saturday, and a Mellowswing music show on the final day, Sunday 8th January.
