Remembering the 67th anniversary of Monaco's liberation
Wreaths are laid at the Monument aux Morts and on the tombs of Monaco's heroes of the resistance, Rene Borghini and Joseph Lajoux. Afterwards, there is a prayer for the dead, bell tolling, a minute's silence, a prayer for peace, and the playing of several national anthems by the Musique Municipale, conducted by Charles Vaudano. Patriotic and resistance societies are invited to attend with a flag bearer.
