Activities for kids to discover the summer exhibition

From 11th to 22nd July, each weekday children can enjoy a tour around a different century of the Fastes et Grandeur des Cours d'Europe exhibition. They discover how people lived in the great courts of Europe, followed by a workshop:

  • Monday, Philip V of Spain and Elisabeth Farnese
    Design your own coat of arms using drawing and collage techniques, card, paint, coloured paper
  • Tuesday, Napoleon and Josephine
    Make a royal crown using folding, cutting and collage techniques, feathers, coloured tissue paper and other materials
  • Wednesday, Francois-Joseph and Sissi
    Create and decorate a royal table setting using "decopatch" technique, decorating transparent plastic plates
  • Thursday, Victoria and Albert
    Create and decorate a princess' mirror or a prince's dagger ussing card, paint, coloured paper, aluminium foil
  • Friday, Rainier III and Grace Kelly
    Create a pop-up castle using folding, cutting and collage techniques

Tours and workshops take place in the mornings and afternoons for different aged children:

  • aged 4-6, 10:00-12:00
  • aged 7-12, 14:00-16:00
