From 2nd to 4th December, rare postal stamps and philatelic documents and premier of Monaco's 2012 program of stamp issues. This year around 100 rare stamps of the world are on show at the Stamp Museum, including items from the private collections of Prince Albert II, Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Philatelic Society of London.
The event takes place in 3 neighbouring locations in Fontvieile:
- Stamp Museum
Rare stamps from collections including those of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Albert II. - Car Museum
Several stamps on the theme "The United Kingdom and Its Colonies". - Salle du Canton
80 stands, including postal services and traders.
Also this year, on 2nd December Monaco's Office des Emissions de Timbres Poste releases a special Prince's marriage block of stamps. Profits from sales of envelopes containing the stamps are to be donated to the 2011 Monaco Telethon.
