Organized by the Federation Monegasque d'Athletisme, the 10th stage of the Samsung Diamond League, and a month before the IAAF World Championship in South Korea. Special guests this year:
- Usain Bolt, triple olympic and world champion, holder of 3 world records, invited personally by Prince Albert II
- Allyson Felix, 200m world champion
- Christophe Lemaitre, triple European champion, will run the 100m
