SBM's Monte Carlo Beach Hotel gained a 5-star rating and was awarded two prizes last year:
- Prix Villegiature for Best Charming Hotel in Europe 2010
- New York's 54th Adrian Awards Competition, silver medal
New for 2011:
- themed cookery classes in the Deck restaurant, including chocolate, Catalan cuisine, and bouillabaisse
- langoustine fondue on the menu in Elsa restaurant
