Day off to celebrate the marriage of Prince Albert and Charlene

The Palace has invited 3500 guests to attend the religious ceremony uniting Prince Albert II and Charlene Wittstock. There will be giant screens at several locations around Monaco to allow the public to view the proceedings.

Friday 1st July schedule

Saturday 2nd July schedule:

  • midday, cocktail for wedding guests in the Hermitage Hotel
  • Charlene walks on her father's arm from the carabiniers' quarters across the Place du Palais on a red carpet
  • 17:00, religious ceremony performed by archbishop Bernard Barsi in the Palace Cour d'Honneur
  • 18:30, wedding procession from the Rocher down ave de la Porte Neuve, ave du Port, blvd Albert 1er ending at St Devote church, where Charlene of Monaco will leave her bouquet. The bride and groom are to use a hybrid Lexus
  • 21:30, official dinner at Opera Garnier and Terrasses du Casino followed by a ball
  • 23:30-midnight music and fireworks
