Grimaldi Forum's summer exhibition

From 11th July to 11th September, the Fastes et Grandeur des Cours en Europe exhibition takes place in the Espace Ravel.

The exhibition "commissaire" Catherine Arminjon has collected 600 works of art representing royalty, emperors, and princes, all of whom have made an indelible mark on their dynasties and countries. Covering a period from the 16th to 20th centuries, the exhibition provides a mini tour of European history and 20 courts, 10 of which still exist. Celebrating great unions in this year of the marriage of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock:

  • Philip 5th of Spain and Elisabeth of Parma
  • Napoleon and Josephine
  • Victoria and Albert

Also individual royals who have made their mark in history:
