Qee Bears decorated by well-known personalities
From September to 14th October, in the hotel lobby. A Japanese Qee Bear called Yoshi (for the hotel's Japanese restaurant) has been the Metropole Hotel's mascot for 2 years. The exhibition has two sets of small models painted by the hotel's Art Director (one a Geisha, the other a Samurai), as well as several larger models. All are for sale, and 5 of the large ones will be auctioned during the closing ceremony to raise money for the Namaste Association to support a school in Nepal.
