Civic movement for a cleaner planet
A day that aims to mobilise civilians and raise awareness of litter and waste pollution.
During the morning in Monaco there are five activities in which the public can take part, promoting exercise and the collection of as much litter as possible. Activities listed below should be booked on the website: Decathlon: activites sportives:
- eco rando: 8:30-11:00, meet at La Turbie model circuit parking, walk from route de la Turbie to Tete de Chien and back
- clean walking: 9:00-11:00, meet at Stars n Bars, walk to Larvotto
- stand up paddle: 9:00-11:00 at plage Larvotto
- suncy boat: 9:00-11:00, meet at Larvotto, 2h cruise for 5 people only
- run eco team: 9:30-11:00, meet at Decathlon (Fontvieille shopping centre), run to plage Mala and back
Everyone should meet at 11:45 by Rose des Vents at Larvotto to weigh the litter collected and to share an apero "zero dechet" offered by Monaco Mairie. This be fruit juice made with unsold fruit from Condamine Market, and food prepared by chef Julien Baldacchino using products close to their use by date from the municipal restaurant.
All participants receive a t-shirt and bag.
