An evening with Professor Thomas Bartlett of the University of Aberdeen, reflecting on the legend of Napoleon in Irish history from 1796 to 1916. He examines the involvement of Bonaparte in the Irish revolutionary wars of 1793-1815, and his subsequent legacy in 19th century Irish history through his representation in Irish culture.
