The presenters discuss why, even now in the 21st century, women are seldom presented as well as men in both the major and minor arts. Many women have painted or sculpted since antiquity, yet their work remains unknown, as if wiped from the collective memory. How do we explain this male domination of the arts, why is authenticity in the history of art only linked with males, and why, when we visit a museum do we overlook works by women but not men?
