Tuscany to Monaco Cycle Challenge 2017

Annual charity cycling event

A 3-day cycling event from 22 to 24 September, taking a 200 mile route through Italian countryside, French coastal towns, and finishing in Monaco.

  • registration fee 400 GBP and minimum sponsorship 2500 GBP

The inaugural event in 2016 was an initiative of Lithuanian Olympian cyclist Modesta Vzesniauskaite, whose Freedom Training Company has designed the route to cater for riders of all abilities.

Participants are split into three groups: advanced, experienced, and beginners. Cyclists fly to Florence on 21 September and spend the night in San Gimignano.

  • day 3, 69 miles

A celebration gala dinner is held at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel, and riders have the opportunity to visit the Principality before flying out of Nice on 25 September.

All funds raised through the ride go to Caudwell Children, a UK charity that provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families.
