22nd Monaco Heritage Day
On 23 and 24 September, this year's Journee du Patrimoine de Monaco takes as its theme the Patrimoine Insolite de Monaco (unusual heritage).
As in previous years, the event begins on Saturday with a trip outside Monaco: a walk along the Via Alpina to Fort Massena and Tete de Chiens.
Sunday is the main day, when administrative buildings, museums and places of interest are open to the public. Buses are free all day.
