85th Monte Carlo Automobile Rally.
From 16 to 22 January, the Monte Carlo Rally is the first round of the FIA World Rally Championship 2017. The first two and a half days are devoted to reconnaissance, after which the competition begins.
Wed 18 Jan, shakedown stage
3.35km test starting 16:00.
Thu 19 Jan, 1st stage
Official departure at 18:15 from Place du Casino, followed by two night time-trials in the Alpes de Haute Provence.
Fri 20 Jan, 2nd stage
Longest day, three time-trials in the Hautes Alpes and Isere regions.
Sat 21 Jan, 3rd stage
Full day followed by service in Gap before driving to Monaco in the early evening.
Sun 22 Jan, 4th stage
Final day of the event in the mountains above Monaco. Vehicles return to the Principality for the prize giving ceremony from 15:00 at the Place du Palais.
