Dance gala
In the Salle des Princes, Mariinsky Ballet's Diana Vishneva is accompanied by Friedmann Vogel of the Stuttgart Ballet and the dancers of the Mariinsky Theatre, for a gala evening of dance.
The first act consists of three ballets by three contemporary choreographers:
- Vertigo, by Mauro Bigonzetti
- Clay, by Vladimir Varnava
- Switch, by Jean-Christophe Maillot
In act two, Vishneva takes on the role of Louis XIV in the ballet that premiered at the Mariinsky Theatre in March 2015, choreographed by Maxim Petrov.
