17th edition of International Competition of Jazz Soloists
The first half of the program is the final of the Concours International de Solistes de Jazz, the second half is a performance by students of the Jazz and Musiques Actuelles department of the Academie Rainier III.

Three candidates, previously selected by a specialist jury, each perform three jazz standards. This year's finalists are:
- saxophonist Sebastien Muller
- pianist David Tixier
- pianist Giuseppe De Gregorio
Following the performance, the jury chooses and announces a winner, taking into account the public's favourite, which counts as one vote. The winner takes away 2000 euros, 2nd prize is 700 and 3rd prize is 500 euros.
The jury is composed of Charly Vaudano, Karyn Ardisson-Salopek, Christian Tourniaire, Lionel Vaudano, Franck Taschini, Roger Rossignol and Jean-Michel Aublette.
Following the competition, Academie Rainier III's Big Band du Conservatoire de Jazz 'Leo Ferre' entertains the audience during the second half of the evening.
