Eliza Lynch was born in Ireland. She met the future Paraguay dictator General Lopez in Paris in 1854 and remained with him until his death in 1870. Her biography entitled Eliza Lynch - Queen of Paraguay is available through Amazon.

The event is followed by a book signing. Books can be reserved in advance, payment by cash only, credit cards not accepted.
