Re-working of traditional Christmas ballet
In the Salle des Princes, one of seven performances, on 29, 30 and 31 December, and 2, 3, 4 and 5 January, of the Ballets de Monte Carlo's interpretation of the Nutcracker ballet. This performance is being broadcast live to cinemas. Casse Noisette Compagnie is choreographed by Jean-Christophe Maillot, music by Tchaikovsky.
