20 November marks the day in 1959 on which the United Nations Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, and in 1989 the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Events in Monaco are dedicated to raising awareness among the Principality's school children about the plight of their peers around the world and their fundamental rights.
