Opera in 3 acts
In the Salle des Princes, three performances, on 16, 19 and 22 November, of Puccini's Tosca, libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, based on the play La Tosca by Victorien Sardou. With Martina Serafin, Marcelo Alvarez and Bryn Terfel.
Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Daniel Oren, stage direction by Jean-Louis Grinda, Monte Carlo Opera and Academie de Musique Rainier III Chorale directed by Stefano Visconti.
A new production by Opera Monte Carlo, Valencia Palau of Arts, the Turin Teatro Regio, and the Torre del Lago Puccini Festival.
