6th edition of competition for international artists
The theme of Monaco's 6th Open des Artistes competition has been announced as Climate and Mankind (le climat et les hommes) and reflects the organizers' commitment to raising awareness of climate change.
Artists who would like to participate should download the registration documents from Galerie l'Entrepot: appel a candidature - Open des Artistes de Monaco 2016.
Competition schedule 2016
- 30 Oct, applications must be received by l'Entrepot Gallery
- 5 Jan, copy of artwork must be emailed to l'Entrepot Gallery
- 4-11 Jan, art work must be deposited at l'Entrepot Gallery
- 12-30 Jan, virtual exhibition published on the organizer's website
- vote for your favourite work: les oeuvres de l'Open des Artistes de Monaco 2016
- 16 Feb-16 Mar, collective exhibition of shortlisted work at the Galerie de l'Entrepot
- official opening 16 Feb, 18:30
- 34 works shortlisted, 31 by the jury, 3 by internet users
- closing party 16 Mar, prize-winners are announced
