Exhibition

From 13 July to 6 September in the Palace library and state apartments, an exhibition of documents, artworks and souvenirs tracing the dynastic relations between the sovereigns of Russia and Monaco from the 17th to the 20th centuries.

The exhibition includes the 1663 travel account of the first Russian to discover Monaco, photographs of Grand Duchess Xenia's 1898 visit to Monte Carlo, and personal accounts of Tsar Nicolas II and Prince Albert Ier relating a 1913 hunting trip to Russia by the Prince. There are also paintings and sculptures of the last Russian Tsars.
