Invitation only launch of new association
In the hotel's Galerie Cristal, the official launch of the Art Food association. Attendance is by invitation only, and during the evening there's an exhibition of artworks, live cooking demonstrations and tastings.
Art Food aims to promote the values of gastronomy and art through events and exhibitions, whilst raising money for charity. Those involved include chefs de cuisine and chefs patissiers, such as Philippe Joannes of the Fairmont, Patrick Raingeard of Cap Estel, and Christian Cottard from Antibes. Artists include photographer Guillaume Barclay, sculptor Patrick Gibelli, and painter Josephine Dionisotti.
Several associations are supporting the association, such as Slow Food Monaco, the Sommeliers de Monaco, the Echanson de la Chaine des Rotisseurs de Monaco, and the Association des Maitres d'Hotels Italiens des Restaurants et des Hotels (AMIRA), many of whose representatives are also attending the launch.
