Princess Grace Dance Academy student show

Two shows, on 26 and 27 June, students and teachers of the Academie Princesse Grace perform their traditional end of year gala. Dancers interpret classical and contemporary pieces with the theme of Swan Lake (le Lac des Cygnes), accompanied by the International Youth Orchestra of Monte Carlo (Jeune Orchestre International).

The show includes a variety of interpretations of one of the most well-known ballets, including choreographies by Lev Ivanov, Mats Ek, Jean-Christophe Maillot, a creation for the students by Marco Goecke, and a flamenco.
Gaetan Morlotti, former soloist of the Monte Carlo Ballets, takes the guest role of Rothbart, providing a link between the different choreographies.
