Summer school children's session
A 3-hour afternoon class for children and adults, with screening of animated film The Secret of Kells. Part of the American Ireland Fund Summer School on the History of Irish Book Illumination of the Golden Age.
Popcorn is served during the film, which is followed by a group activity, colouring and painting animals portrayed in the Book of Kells.
The session is free of charge, however only 10 places are available, so reservation is necessary. No previous experience or artistic talent is necessary for the artistic workshops.
