At the ice rink, music from two bands, After All, and Boys Boys Boys.

Two thirds of the rink are reserved for skaters, the remainder is reconstructed with a bar and covered over for the public to stand. Audience members are advised to wear well insulated shoes, such as apres-ski boots, to protect feet from the ice.
The ice-rink closes for the season at the end of the following day, 8 March.
