Raising awareness and encouraging support
International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD), or Journee Internationale Des Cancers Pediatriques Et Des Maladies Rares, is an annual event held on 15 February. Launched in 2002 by Childhood Cancer International, the day aims to raise awareness about childhood cancer and express support for sufferers and their families.
In Monaco, Fondation Flavien is organizing a march to mark ICCD. Everyone is invited to take part and to wear something orange. Schedule:
- 14:00, meet at Place du Palais
- 15:00, depart via Rampe Major to Place d'Armes
