2nd edition of solar powered craft regatta
From 9 to 11 July, races and trials for solar-powered boats in the Bay of Monaco. Around 30 vessels are expected to take party, built and piloted by teams that are partly composed of international university students.
There are two categories of boat, A Class and Open Class, and the 3-day event includes slalom races, flotillas and duels, with vessels reaching a maximum speed of 30 knots.
Teams already registered are from Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Russia and the USA.
