Introduced and led by Maria Livanos Cattaui, this interactive discussion deals with the topic of the challenges faced by China following 30 years of economic growth. How can the country move to a knowledge and information economy, whilst its system struggles with social programs, critical thinking and information sharing, privileged state owned enterprises, cronyism and corruption.

Maria Livanos Cattaui was Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce from 1996 to 2005. She has worked with the World Economic Forum, and is a board member of several international organizations.
