Concerts
Open to the public and free of charge.
- 30 Jan, 20:00, Theatre des Varietes, guitar solos and chamber music, with Juan Carlo Laguna and students of conservatories
- 31 Jan, 20:00, Theatre des Varietes, guitar groups across borders, ensembles of between 8 and 50 guitarists, from various countries, varied repertoire after working together for two days
- 1 Feb, 16:30, Auditorium Academie Rainier III, closing concert
Musical meeting
1 Feb, 11:00, Auditorium Academie Rainier III, Valerie Duchateau, La guitare "classique", un instrument a la croisees des mondes musicaux (classical guitar, an instrument at the crossroads of the world of music). Valerie Duchateau is atypical, combining classical and popular guitar styles.

Guitar master classes take place at Academie Rainier III, primarily French language, with teachers Juan Carlos Laguna (Mexico), Pia Grees (Germany), Johan Fostier (Belgium) and Giorgio Albiani (Italy)

Organized by the Academie Rainier III, the Journees de la Guitare unites the conservatories of Chalon-sur-Saone (France), Ghent (Belgium), Tilburg (Netherlands), Cesena (Italy) and Schafhausen (Switzerland). It's attended by student and teacher guitarists from schools and conservatories in Monaco, Beausoleil, Roquebrune, Cannes and Villefranche sur Mer.
