Official public appearance of twins
Monegasques, residents, workers and interested parties are invited to attend the official presentation of the children of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene. The day is a public holiday for the Principality.
If you'd like to attend, the Place du Palais is open from 10:00, and you should arrive no later than 11:30. Note:
- bring an ID card with you
- access the Palace Square by the Rampe Major, rue Emile de Loth, rue Comte Felix Gastaldi or Rue Basse
- no animals allowed
Bus travel is free all day, and the Pecheurs and Digue Car Parks are free during the event.
Congratulations can be sent to the couple using the email secr2s[at]palais.mc. If you'd like to send a gift, please note that donations are preferred and will be distributed to charities chosen by the couple. Cheques should made out to TGF Naissances and sent to the Palais Princier, Service de l'Administration des Biens.
Twins Gabriella Therese Marie (born at 17:04), and Jacques Honore Rainier (born at 17:06) were born 10 December 2014 at Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco. Jacques receives the title of Marquis des Baux and becomes the Hereditary Prince, whilst Gabriella will be known as the Comtesse de Carlades.
