A debate about food waste. During the evening a leaflet is being presented that helps people assess their own daily food use and offers simple tips and good practices to reduce waste. Written by the graphic novel writer Jean Pierre Dirick, it includes a a detachable charter that people can sign. During the meeting organizers are answering questions about the leaflet, which will be delivered to all households in the Principality.
According to the United Nations Environment Programme, around a third of food produced in the world for human consumption every year ends in the bin. Monaco is taking action to reduce this waste.
