French language children's art workshops
From 14th to 25th July, a series of creative workshops for children aged 4-7 and 8-12 linked to the Grimaldi Forum's summer exhibition of works from the Pinault Collection. Each workshop begins with a guided tour of the exhibition led by an art historian. Following this, the children create a work of art based on what they have learned during the visit.
- individual workshop and exhibition visit, 19 euros
- 5-day course and exhibition visit, 85 euros
- maximum 25 children per group

Morning classes, 10:00-12:00.
- Monday, using a repeated motif, in reference to the work of Murakami
Tuesday, hommage to Sturtevant and Warhol
Wednesday, drawing referring to Jeff Koons' Hanging Heart
Thursday, art that's visible in the dark, in reference to the work of Dan Flavin
Friday, group work, in reference to Subodh Gupta's Very Hungry God. The result will be exhibited in the Grimaldi Forum hall as part of the exhibition
Older children aged 8-12
Afternoon classes, 14:00-16:00.
- Monday, sculpting a block of soap, in reference to the work of Urs Fischer
Tuesday, portrait using black and white paint only, in reference to the work of Yan Pei Ming
Wednesday, painting surfaces, in reference to the work of Bertrand Lavier
Thursday, making a fixed image appear to move, in reference to the work of Giulio Paolini
Friday, group work, in reference to Subodh Gupta's Very Hungry God. The result will be exhibited in the Grimaldi Forum hall as part of the exhibition
