The annual Herculis International Athletics Meeting, part of the IAAF Diamond League since 2010, attracts world class athletes to Monaco.

The main event is preceded by an annual Tournee des Perchistes (pole vaulting tour) on the beaches of the Cote d'Azur, and the 1000 Metres d'Ouverture (opening 1000 m race). A musical fireworks display brings the evening to a close.
