Writer Bernard Spindler tells the story of the origins of Monte Carlo. His book Jeux de Dames a Monte Carlo, recounts the changes that took place in Monaco, and the role of Caroline Gibert de Lametz, the underrated princess, mother of Charles III, in establishing the grand project to build Monte Carlo. Following the presentation, the author is signing books.
