Annual Fete de SAS le Prince Souverain

Official events start at 10:00 with a Te Deum Mass in the cathedral. After this, Prince Albert presents medals and honours to the police and palace guards. He then celebrates with his family and Monegasques in the Place du Palais.

Invitations to Fantasia Circus and Tout Ce Que J'Aime are free and can be collected from the Mairie on presentation of a Monegasque ID card or a resident's card:

  • 5th November, 9:00-16:00 for Monegasque nationals
  • 6th November, 9:00-16:00 for Monegasque nationals and all residents

Since numbers are limited, only two tickets per card are allotted.

Monaco's Fete Nationale has been celebrated since the reign of Prince Charles III in 1857. Originally falling on the saint's day of the reigning prince, Prince Albert II decided to keep the date his father celebrated, Saint Rainier's Day, 19th November.
