Holiday activities for kids
From 15th February to 16th March, educative and fun activities for children school holidays. Free admission for children aged 4 to 12 years who are in full fancy dress.
Sea creature disguises
Museum activity leaders explain why leaf fish change colour, why comet fish disguise themselves as morays, and how other ocean creatures use colour, camouflage and mimicry.

Fancy dress ball
Treasure hunt on the ground and first floor, with juggling balls, a fairy hat and flower necklace hidden in 12 unexpected places.
Around the lagoon
Discover tropical species and the secrets of the Museum's largest aquarium.

Shark stroking
Daily, 10:00-17:30, in the temporary exhibition area, ground floor.
Touch tank
45 minute sessions with a guide, supplement payable per child aged 3-12, available from ticket desk.
