The International Fair of Monaco is like an up-market version of the Ideal Home Exhibition (for those of you from the UK). There are stalls showing furniture for the house and garden, clothes, health and fitness products, and of course food and drink. It's a great way to spend an hour or so, getting ideas for the house, trying out PowerPlate type machines, tasting cheese, charcuterie and wines.
This year there's a Russian theme, with demonstrations by Russian chefs and performances by Russian musicians and artists. Entrance is free if you go during the week, and although the advertised entry fee for the weekend is 5 euros, we've come across at least 2 local organizations offering free tickets in return for your contact details.
