In the stadium's Salle Gaston Medecin, AS Monaco Basket's Roca team plays host to ABC Angers. The two are currently neck and neck at the top of the French Championnat de Nationale 1 and are battling it out to gain promotion into the Pro B league.

Monaco's basket ball club plays in the NM1 (Nationale Masculine 1) league, the 3rd division of the Championnat de France, which is the highest amateur level. Previously, the team was in the professional league from 1973 to 1975, and from 1976 to 1991.
